MBA General Meeting:

January 10th, 2004 at Callaway Electric Coop. in Fulton, Missouri

President Robert Crandall called a meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

Presents were MBA members: Robert Crandall, Steven Tipton, Dennis Bacon, Mike Speaks, Judith & Ron Smith, Kenneth Kistner, Tom Eades.

Absented was: Mark Bax.

Visitor's Recognition:

Gina Bell and Debbie West.

New members:

Gina Bell, James Gooch and Roy Jones. Welcome all of them joined out club. Congratulation!!!

Reading of Correspondences:

Judith passed me a letter from State of Missouri about annual paying for Inc.

Reading of Minutes:

Members accepted the minutes. Seconded and Passed.

Treasurer's Report:

Judith had some good questions and everything were cleared up. (Note: $172.00 refund?   Tom paid $200.00 entry fee for all tournaments which were passed in 2002 November General meeting. During 2003 Feburary meeting, we, the members, changed their mind about entry fees so we went back to old rules. So how it worked: $200.00 entry fee - $28.00 due = $172.00 refunded to Tom.)

The members accepted. Seconded and Passed.

Report of Officers:

Secretary / Treasurer Dennis asked the members if they have any problem with our club's website. Please report and email me so I can correct it.

Report of Committees:

NBAD Rep- Tom Eades - He said he got no letters.

Law Chairperson - Tom Eades - no issues or changes.

Shirt Chairperson - Mark Bax was not here.

2004 Hogroast Chairperson:

Mark was not here. The members motioned that Mark Bax - no action so we gave the full authorization as full Chairperson to Robert Crandall. Seconded and Passed.

Secretary Dennis will write a letter to him.

Chairperson Robert Crandall motioned that:

1st place - Queen Quilt

2nd place - $250.00

3rd place - Queen Quilt

4th place - $250.00

5th place - Full Quilt

6th place - $250.00

7th place - Full Quilt

8th place - $250.00

9th place - Full Quilt

10th place - $250.00

We closed a discussion and vote. Seconded.  We voted. Passed.

He motioned that raffle ticket would be:

1 ticket for $1.00 and 6 tickets for $5.00.

We closed a discussion  and voted. Seconded and Passed.

 

Plans for 2004 Hogroast:

Ron Smith will take care of a pig.

Dennis Bacon will take care of BBQ trailer.

Dennis and Kenneth will check about Amish woods.

We will have a pig, hot dogs and hamburgers during 2004 Hogroast.

General Meeting (here):

Mike Speaks - He announced that we will have a cold lunch, cake, and ice cream. Also we praised him to donate the food for us to eat. How nice of him!

Tournament Committee Report:

Steven Tipton - He announced and chose Kenneth and Dennis as tournament committees working with him.

Schedule - Seconded and Passed.

March 6th - Lake of Ozark - PB #2 - sunrise to 3 p.m. Motel: Town & Country Motel

April 3rd - Truman Lake - Long Shoals Marina - Sunrise to 3 p.m.  Motel: Grand River Resort

April 17th - Lake of Ozark - Runaway II Marina - Sunrise to 3 p.m.  Motel: Runaway II Resort      

May 22nd - Truman Lake - Bucksaw Marina - Sunrise to 3 p.m.  Motel: Bucksaw Resort.        

June 15th - 17th - National Bass Association for Deaf

July 17th - Lake of Ozark - Purvis Ramp - Sunrise to noon. Depend on weather - if nice, we can fish till 3 p.m.

August 7th - Truman Lake - Osage Bluff Marina - Sunrise to noon. Depend on weather - if nice, we can fish till 3 p.m. Motel: Osage Bluff Resort

August 28th - Lake of Ozark - Bledsoe Ferry Ramp - Sunrise to noon. Depend on weather - if nice, we can fish till 3 p.m. Motel: Super 8 Motel in Warsaw, Mo.

September 18th - Truman Lake - Sterett Creek Ramp - Sunrise to 3 p.m.  Motel: Sterett Creek Resort.

October 2nd - MSD Homecoming. We will have HOGROAST at V.F.W. in Fulton, Mo.

October 16th - TBA- Sunrise to 3 p.m.

November 6th - Award Banquet will be announced where by Judith Smith.

Dennis Bacon explained about entry fee works.

 

The members motioned that new business adjourned. Seconded and Passed.

 

President Robert  asked anyone to be a Award Banquet Chairperson. Judith volunteered. Members Seconded and Passed. Congratulation to Judith.

 

If more than 10 new members, we will have a general meeting in Febuary. If less, no meeting but see ya there at 1st tournament.

Tom Eades motioned that the general meeting adjourned. Seconded and Passed. President Robert called a meeting adjourned at 11:40 a.m.
