Special Meeting

Robert Crandall, President, called a special meeting about M.S.D. Homecoming at V.F.W. hall planning at 1:20 p.m. on August 28th, 2004.

 

Present: Robert Crandall, Gina Bell, Dennis Bacon, Steven Tipton, James Gooch, Charles Farrell, and Tom Eades. Absent: Mike Speaks, Kenneth Kistner, Ron Smith, Judith Smith, Mark Bax, and Roy Jones.

 

Robert Crandall asked Tom, Law Chairperson but he can't read. He asked Charles Farrell to read the oath to the new officers who didn't take oath during last meeting. Ooops. So the officers were taken the oath.

 

Robert Crandall, Hog Roast event chairperson stood and talked about the planning. He asked about a hog as committed by Ron Smith. Dennis will email him for a confirmation. (as September 11th, 2004, Ron and Judith brought his trailer and visited me at my house. Everything took care of. )

 

About BBQ Grill, Dennis already reserved a flat grill BBQ from Blues Hog Business. Dennis said he keep email each other with that guy on that grill. Everything will go smooth.

 

About amish wood, It already took care of as mentioned as above. I already dropped the trailer at Amish place on Sept. 11.

 

About food, Dennis asked the members if they wanna same thing last two years ago. Went to Sam's club and bought the food then the members will pay the difference. The member voted and passed. Note: the club will pay the meats like hog, hamburger, hot dogs. Ask the members to bring enough money to share the cost. Dennis expect approx. $30 to $50 each member. Maybe less. Will find out when Dennis shop at Sam's Club.

 

Charles Farrell motioned that the members donate $20.00 for Door Prize. Seconded and Passed. Note: On friday nite, we will collect the donations then Charles and Robert will go to Super Wal-Mart to buy the prizes for the door prizes.

 

Motioned that Door prize - 10 tickets for $1.00. Seconded and Passed.

 

Meeting adjourned at 1:35 p.m.

 

Announcement: Robert talked about stitching the logo on a hat and shirt. He will display it on September 25th.
