MBA General Meeting:

November 1^st, 2003 at Corral Golden in Columbia, Missouri

President Kenneth Kistner called General Meeting to order at 10:25 a.m.

Presents were MBA members. Kenneth Kistner, Robert Crandall, Dennis Bacon, Thomas Eades, Mike Speaks, Steven Tipton, Mark Bax, Judith Smith.

Ronald Smith was absent.

Sergeant-at-arm: was not appointed.

Visitor's Recognition:

Roy Jones, Debbie West, Mary Nutt

Roy Jones says next year he will join members.

Reading of Correspondences:

none

Reading of Minutes:

Passed and seconded by the members.

Treasurer's Report:

Dennis reported the balance present is $1,901.94.

The members accepted it as reported. Seconded and Passed.

Report of Officers:

All officers had no comments.

Report of Committees:

Mike Speaks is doing a good job.

Tournament Director:

Mike awarded the trophies to the winners.

Dennis Bacon - 1^st Place Angler of Year in 2003.

Robert Crandall - 2^nd Place Angler of Year in 2003.

Tom Eades and Robert Crandall got the Sportmanship of 2003 Year.

Congratulation to the winners!!!

NBAD-Rep:

Kenneth asked Thomas Eades to be a representative for N.B.A.D. next year. Tom accepted.

Law of Chairperson:

1) Bacon motioned that the membership due is $5.00 included NBAD quote on 2 year trail. Amended - Seconded - Passed

2) Bacon motioned that $500.00 Big Bass Minimum 5 lbs, increase 1 lb after someone win. Amended - Seconded - Passed

3) Bacon motioned that :

$50.00 for each regular tournament

--Break down of entry fee --

$40.00 for purse each tournament

$5.00 goes to club fund

$5.00 goes to Classic Fund for 1^st place Guaranteed.

That motion was Seconded and Passed.

4) Bacon motioned that Guaranteed $$$ first place for Classic. ($$$ from $5.00 per member each tournament - example, 10 boaters, 10 non-boaters - total 20 X $5.00 =$100.00 X 5 or more tournaments would be $500 or more). Seconded and Passed.

5) Bacon motioned that How to qualify to fish for Classic. Must fish 5 time or more regular tournaments. Seconded and Passed.

6) Bacon motioned that Full $50.00 entry fee for Classic. ( No break down of entry fee like regular). Seconded and Passed.

7) Bacon motioned that:

Classic prizes - 1^st place - Guaranteed by total from $5.00 classic fund per member plus per tournament.

2^nd place - 50 % from Classic entry fee

3^rd place - 30 % from Classic entry fee

4^th place - 20 % from Classic entry fee

That motion was Seconded and Passed.

8) Mark Bax motioned that the members can send the entry fees before tournament date but not fish and will qualify for Classic. Seconded and Passed.

New Business:

Dennis Bacon motioned to closed new business. Seconded - Passed.

Election of Officers:

President - Robert Crandall

Vice President - Steven Tipton

Secretary/Treasurer - Dennis Bacon

Note: Secretary/Treasurer will be temporary as 2 year. Hope to have more members to join so we can go back to normal.
